Job Opportunity: Research Assistant, Asia Research Institute
The Asia Research Institute (ARI) was established as a University-level institute in July 2001 as one of the strategic initiatives of the National University of Singapore (NUS).
Our mission is to provide a world-class focus and resource for research on the Asian region, located at one of its communication hubs.
We are looking for suitable candidates to fill the position of Research Assistant.

The Research Assistant will be involved in editing and preparing manuscripts for publication, library and background research. The work will also involve evaluating and reviewing opportunities to improve communication activities for the Institute, including updating information for the website and social media platforms. Participation in other research related activities and administrative duties will apply.
The applicant should possess a good Honours degree or equivalent in the Social Sciences or Humanities. He/She should have the following:
- Strong library research skills
- Excellent command of the English language
- Ability to write and edit at a high level for an academic audience
- Experiences in website management and preparing project proposals are added advantages
- IT savvy
